Dr. Md Kausar Raza joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Fall 2025.

Prior to joining UWL, he held postdoctoral and research fellow appointments at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His research integrates inorganic chemistry, photochemistry, and chemical biology to address problems in human health.
