Chemistry in action at Driftless IDEA Camp!

In June 2026, Dr. Raza led “elephant toothpaste” experiments with middle school campers at UW-La Crosse, assisted by student volunteers from our lab. Through colorful, foamy reactions, campers explored catalysts and chemical reactions while experiencing the excitement of hands-on science.

The campers’ drawings and handwritten thank-you messages made the experience even more memorable! Thank you to our student volunteers, the campers, and the organizers for making this outreach event special.
